Each Sew-Opportunity is an operation of common vision with
individual freedom. Most communities will have a main operation
that acts as a proto type expressing the wide variety of
possibilities and act as local warehousing/distribution of donated
goods. Other locations will participate by offering what is
available, focus on specific services and use the web site to
announce the level of involvement toward the mission. Involved
members, locations and resources are accessible through the use of
the website which is used for networking maximum potential of goods
and services. Members can start to use the Sew-Op services by
registering on-line and creating a profile. Profiles are used to
communicate, keep track of shop/trade hours, build character and
provide access to physical locations. Three levels of membership
are consistently offered at all locations that provide structure
and create an understanding of individual involvement. Bi-Annual
fashion shows are conducted through the Sew-Op member base in
various locations that promote those who have achieved professional
status and raise funds for out reach agendas with in the Sew-Op
mission. Altruistic ideas are a main stay in the Sew-Op value
system.
