Sewing Tables

(folding Tables that have leg risers are the ideal portable/make shift studio) (Nice smooth top wooden tables that are 80 in wide and 6 ft long for permanent studio) (one table is ideal for each person, some projects would allow members to share)

Industrial Sewing Machines

(Commercial equipment comes in two pieces, machine head and table with a motor) (Self oiling machines are ideal and should be maintained daily)

portable Sewing Machines

(Ideal for beginners, will require a table to work off of, use cone thread with a holder) (equipment with metal casings and parts are ideal, older/more expensive better deal)

Sergers industrial/portable

(requires cone thread, industrial is a two piece, again metal parts preferred)

Scissors

Any Good pair of shears will last long with monthly sharping Members should be encouraged to test out SO shears but buy their own

Tape measures

flexible measures at least 60in long

Seam Rippers

Chalk/wax

Straight pins

Safety pins

Varieties/colors of thread

Supply about 5 of each thing and that should last and be enough for full workshop activity.
